Kate Laughlin

Kate Laughlin (she/they) is a movement-based artist located in Chicago, IL. She holds a BFA in Dance from Ball State University’s Theatre and Dance program and has had the privilege of performing works by Sidra Bell, Martha Graham, Susan Koper, and Jennifer Meckley. She’s performed and studied at world renowned places such as The American Dance Festival, Sidra Bell:MODULE21, The Joyce Theater, The American College Dance Association, and DUMBO Solo/Duo Festival. In addition to her performance work, Kate has also choreographed and directed two original screendances that have been showcased at The American College Dance Association and the Hobbnoben Film Festival. She is currently in collaboration with Chicago based dance companies Still Inspired and Project Bound Dance.
