Dancer, Collaborator


Alix Schillaci is a Chicago based performing artist. After receiving a Bachelor of the Arts in Dance from Loyola University in 2016, she became a company member with Project Bound Dance, where she is currently in her fifth season. Schillaci has also performed independently for dancemakers Darling Shear, Erin Kilmurry, Sarah Cullen Fuller, Amy Wilkinson, Penny Saunders, Ching Ching Wong, Hannah Santistevan, and others, and is an ensemble member for The Fly Honey Show. Schillaci made her debut as a writer and actor in Rhinofest 2019 as a cast member of On a Pin Cushion: The Collected Works of Mary de Morgan directed by Dani Wieder and Sarah Ellen Miller. As a dancemaker, Schillaci has presented live and digital work through Loyola University Chicago, Mess Hall, iO Chicago, and Senn High School for the Arts, and is a movement collaborator with jazz quartet Four Dimensions Ensemble. Her current commission for Project Bound Dance, Sunset’s That Way, is set to premiere in Fall 2021.
